There has been an increasing demand for improved standards for health and safety in holiday accommodation sector. COVID-19 then added to these concerns. Therefore, we've teamed up with a third party certification scheme to develop a unique package of health and safety support for individual properties/owners. The package will offers the following:
- Provide you with the one to one support of a Chartered Health and Safety Professional to ensure you are aware of and fulfilling your duties
- Provide a certificate of accreditation demonstrating to guests that your property has high standards for health and safety (including COVID arrangements)
- Reassure guests that they are in a safe property
- Help your property stand out from the competition
- Demonstrate “due diligence” in the case of a claim being made against you
What kind of packages are there?
- Standard package for a micro accommodation i.e. yurt
- Standard package for cottage (sleeping up to 10)
- Standard package for large accommodation (sleeping over 10)
- POA for other accommodation including hotels, guest houses, complexes
There is an additional fee for hot tubs, open fires/woodburners, sports facilities, etc.
What is included in this service?
This package includes a Health and Safety assessment as standard.
The assessment cover a range of legislative and best practice checks, including COVID arrangements. We will liaise with the property owners throughout to ensure it is not an onerous process. There is also an option to add Quality and Environmental Procedures to the application which can be selected on registration.
